What grows together, goes together 🌱
🇮🇹 Italian version below
When Keyhan and I say that everything we are, do, discover, and love flows into Leaf, we really mean it.
What grows together, goes together — which is now a course we've created — has this name for a very simple reason: it was born from something real in our own lives.
One evening, I was sitting on the couch watching The Bear. 🧑🍳
In one scene, the phrase what grows together, goes together is used to talk about food: ingredients that grow in the same season and naturally work well together on a plate. 🥗
But the moment I heard it, I knew that phrase was true somewhere else too.
In my life, there is at least one person with whom growing together and going together felt deeply true.
I loved it so much that I turned it into an embroidery, which now hangs in my home.
A few weeks later, I received an unusual request: a couple asked if they could take lessons together. They both needed English — for different reasons — but they wanted to work towards their individual goals while experiencing the process as a couple.
And who was I to say no? So I said yes.
And I started creating activities that only two people who know each other well could truly do together.
For example:
Choose a photo.
A day you lived together.
Each of you tells me what you remember from that moment. The details won't be the same.
You'll be surprised by what the other person remembers about themselves — and about you.
And that's exactly where the magic happens. ✨
A real conversation, charged with genuine emotion, creates deep connections and helps anchor language in memory through feeling.
That's how our brain learns: through involvement.
- Positive emotions improve focus and memory.
- Having a shared goal, alongside a personal one, multiplies motivation.
- And almost without noticing, negative emotions fade away: no shame, no fear of making mistakes.
There is no safe space safer than this.
After such a positive experience, I suggested this path to another couple — who accepted with enthusiasm.
And once again, with different personalities and different dynamics, the result was the same.
It works. I've seen it. I've tested it.
What grows together, goes together – English for couples 🌱 is an English course unlike any other.
Not because the method itself is "special," but because you create the dynamic.
When I say couples, I simply mean two people who care about each other: partners, friends, siblings.
The only thing that matters is the desire to grow together, in sync.
If you already have someone in mind you'd like to share this experience with, you already have everything you need to start.
If you'd like to understand whether this path is right for you, you can reply to this email or message me privately. We'll talk it through, with no rush 🌱

Funziona. L'ho visto. L'ho provato.
Se hai già in mente quella persona con cui vorresti condividere questa esperienza, you already have everything you need to start.
